The Couloir Legacy - 4.1

CouloirLegacy4.1

Greetings to all- I apologize for yet another long-ass time before an update. The internet at school sucks something awful. It's ridiculously slow. Much like these updates, as you may notice. But either way, now we move on to another chapter of the Couloir legacy- in which Coral grows into a young adult, and starts her quest as the fourth generation heiress.

Since I didn't have as many pictures as I thought I did, I suppose we start the chapter off right away with Coral's birthday party. :S

I make a point to invite all the family members I can.

STOP!
...
Sparkle Time!

Screenshot-1579

Well, she certainly did grow into her looks.
I present Coral Couloir, the sim who will bring the next generation of Couloir children into being!

After spending so much time with the camera, Coral decided photography is what she wants to do with her life.

During the party, Ruby and Rose start talking like old friends. Twins, rather.

Screenshot-1584

It's not long until Coral has to go to her (annoyingly) obligatory graduation ceremony. The ceremony interrupted my trying to find her a spouse- her parents ARE getting quite old, she doesn't have all the time in the world if she wants to have her parents see her married. She is sure to make a derp-face before she tosses her diploma.

Screenshot-1589

After that nonsense, I have Coral go out to the fancier restaurant in town to celebrate her adulthood, and look for a spouse. I was surprised upon her arrival, for there was a man there-

Screenshot-1592

Young adult? Check. Good genes? Check- Wait, WHAT-

Screenshot-1593

He's a werewolf. Bloody hell.

But then, as I was sitting there at my desk, listening to my ipod, wondering what to do with this man, a particular song came on. "Would You Love a Monster Man" by Lordi.

It had to be a sign.

So, off they went on their conversational way.

Screenshot-1594
Screenshot-1596

It turns out his name is Terrance Braun.

Screenshot-1597

HUSGHSIBGSKDNG They're both hopeless romantics! How cute.

Screenshot-1598

They got some flirting going on over hurr.

Isn't she the cutest thing?

Screenshot-1599
Screenshot-1600

they ended up watching the stars together. CUTE.

Screenshot-1602

Soon, Autumn start making Bridgeport all frosty (Woohoo, Seasons!). It has a very aesthetically pleasing effect on the doors and windows.

Screenshot-1603

Pumpkin's still around, even though she's a bit of an old kitty. <3

Screenshot-1604

Since I wanted to see what the world looked like covered in frostiness cool weather had arrived for the first time, Coral took a walk down to the park/festival grounds.

Screenshot-1609

Before she arrived, she called up Terrance to ask if he wanted to join her-

Screenshot-1610

YES! It's a date! (^..^) (>..)> (v..v) <(..<)

Screenshot-1611

They get quite...*ahem* friendly. Not that I'm complaining- Coral needs to get on that family-starting business stat!

Screenshot-1613
Screenshot-1617

They actually look really sweet together... but I have to wonder what Terrance looks like outside of his werewolf form.

Screenshot-1619

...Wait for it...

Screenshot-1623

Awwwww.

Look at those eyes! They're fricking gold! *coughcoughperfectforyellowgenerationcough*

Screenshot-1624

Meanwhile, Ruby and Rémy are still considerably frisky. Silly old folks.

Screenshot-1632

Coral actually writes a love letter to Terrance. I think the love letter addition is awesome; I think it would be even more awesome if EVERY PERSON IN THE HOUSE wouldn't keep getting them from random people! Sometimes one person will send a member of the household three letters in two days! IT'S LUDICROUS!

Screenshot-1633

Coral decides to visit Terrance's abode later that evening- and surprise, surprise! He's not in werewolf form anymore! Hooray!

He doesn't look too bad, I suppose. Certainly suitable for passing on his genes to the next generation of Couloirs!

Screenshot-1634
Screenshot-1635

And they're steady! Yes!

Screenshot-1638

That being said, Coral decides it would be best if she brought him home to meet her parents (And Pumpkin, of course, No one gets in without my Pumpkin's seal of approval.)

She looks pretty happy, though. *inner squee*

Screenshot-1639
Screenshot-1640

OKAY. Time to meet the doting father.

Screenshot-1641

Screenshot-1645

All seems to be going well, until I get a message- Pumpkin tells me that "The foreboding full moon begins its mystical ascent into the night sky." Well, gee, Pumpkin, that's awfully cryptic of yo- Oh shit.

Yeah, that thing about werewolves and full moons? Totally forgot. Oops.

Screenshot-1646
Screenshot-1647

Poor Coral faints from fear and shock.

Screenshot-1650

When she awakens, she decides that she has to go out looking for him. He's probably done this before, but good, worrisome Coral goes out anyway.

Screenshot-1651

She ends up heading to the family graveyard I made for this legacy. I attempted to lighten the pictures so you may be able to see what's going on, instead of a few vague shapes in the dark.

ASOLDBGSKDJGB SK WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?

Apparently zombies spawn EVERY full moon, all over the place. Charming

Screenshot-1652

Well, either way, they find each other there. Coral confesses her fear of being in a graveyard, the poor girl-

Screenshot-1654

...And Terrance makes a promise to protect her. (How frigging sweet is that?!?)

Screenshot-1655

The next morning, coral is eating breakfast with her father. He brings up the topic of children... he probably wants her to have them pretty soon (he's not the only one). Coral seems a trifle surprised by the topic, judging by her facial expression.

Screenshot-1660
Screenshot-1661

Pumpkin, you can't have sim food, sweetie! You eat kitty food!

Screenshot-1662

skjfhsigbfskldnl look at her. I'm glad I'm not a sim. Because there is no way in hell I'd be able to resist that.

Screenshot-1663

Rémy loves his daughter either way, whether she has children soon or not. He's getting pretty old, and at this point I'm hoping he lives to see his grandchildren.

Screenshot-1664

Later, Terrance is over- he comes to ask Rémy something. He asks for Coral's hand in marriage! 0_0 D'AWWWWW.

Screenshot-1668

HE SAYS YES! Even though Terrance turned right in front of him and his daughter (and made her faint) the other night!

Screenshot-1670

So, Terrance goes about proposing to her in a ridiculously romantic way. She dresses up in her formal wear, heads out to the flowery place in the backyard that she learned to walk in when she was a toddler- And she sees Terrance.

Screenshot-1671
Screenshot-1674
Screenshot-1677
Screenshot-1680

Of course, she says yes!

Screenshot-1682
Screenshot-1683

And perhaps this is where I will cut off the chapter- I apologize if this chapter is a little shorter than usual. I appear to be running out of space for pictures, which will prove to be a problem if I can't publish the rest of my legacy. I'm going to ask my techie boyfriend if there is any way to make the pictures smaller files, and then I will try to get back to you dear readers as soon as possible.

Next time on the Couloir Legacy: Birth, Death, and Marriage- all wrapped up in one dramatic chapter. What will happen at Coral and Terrance's wedding? Will their future children inherit the werewolf gene? Will Rémy and Ruby live long enough to meet their grandchildren?

Comments

I love Terrance. He will definitely bring interesting DNA into the mix. :3 Adding you. :)
Thanks! Glad you like him, I've been wanting to add some supernatural genes into the legacy, and Terrance was right there! :)
Hell yeah Lordi! Nice connection with the song and your story.
Hah, thanks! Like I said, I was just listening to my ipod and, pop, on it comes. Had to be a sign, clearly. ;) Lordi is a fantastic band. I wish it was easier to find their CDs in Canada!
